Our Story
Our Story
Founded by lifelong friends Vernon, Adanna, & Samantha, who grew up together in Washington D.C., Vascano is an expression of their diverse perspectives, shared passions, & indelibly linked hearts. Our different paths led us to one another as teens & our friendship has flourished into an unbreakable bond. While many great moments have been shared & continue to be created, some of our fondest memories involve a cocktail or two. Though we do not always agree, Tequila is a common ground that is always a guaranteed “yes!”. So we sat down, put our talents together, & created something epic to share with the world.
Vernon Leftwich
A native of Washington, D.C., he holds the position of Business Manager at Vascano Tequila. His professional background encompasses roles as a program analyst, supporting both federal and state government agencies. In this capacity, he managed budgets totaling $200 million, forecasting expenditures and implementing strategies to optimize program operations and service delivery.
Adanna Mbanugo
A native of Washington, D.C., she serves as the Content & Events Manager for Vascano Tequila. Her passion for connecting with people and crafting cocktails began during her college years when she started bartending for extra cash, and her love for it has only deepened since then.
Samantha Johnson
A native of Washington, D.C., she serves as Marketing & Creative for Vascano Tequila. Her background in experiential marketing and crafting experiences that resonate with target audiences brings a refreshing perspective to the Vascano team.
